D-Plan will pose apractical creative challenge to aspiringcivil engineers through a two stageproblem statement that will have to betackled on the spot. Floor plans, layoutsand perspectives and “out of the box”thinking. That’s what it takes to get theultimate design for any constructionproject. FIRST ROUND :•Participants will be given the problem statement on the spot.They will have to draw 2 sheets.(Details will be disclosed with the problem statement)•Once the problem statement is disclosed, time of 30 mins will be given for discussion,after which A-2 size sheet will be distributed.• 1st sheet will have to be submitted after completion of 2 hrs.•After a break of 15 mins, 2nd sheet will be given to the participants.•Inking/colouring of the sheets is allowed.•Participants are reqested to carry all the instruments required for drawing.•The organizers have the right to add, modify or remove any rule as required.All the changes will be informed to the participants prior to the commencement of the event.•In case of disputes, the decisions of the organizers and the judges will be final and binding to all.•Teams are expected to maintain discipline and decorum. We reserve the right to disqualify any team found to be behaving inappropriately. •Teams must be present on time for the event.•For the selection of the 2nd round, decision of the judges will be final.SECOND ROUND :•selected participants will be asked to come the next day for the final round.•Problem statement will be declared on the spotRegistration:-•3 participants maximum in each team•Team members need not be from the same institution.
