General Rules & Regulations

• Time given for presenting the paper is 8+2+5 min. 10 min for presentation and 5 min for question answer round. A warning bell will be rung on the 8th min.
• The hard copy of report should be a MS Word (1997-2003) file only. It should not be more than 20 pages with line spacing 1.5 & font size 12 - Times New Roman.
• 1 hard copy has to be submitted at the time of registration. For outstation registration, the same has to be posted to the following address,

• On the day of the event, 2 hard copies and 1 soft copy have to be brought along by the participants. In addition, the participants will give a power point (slide) presentation.
• Only Microsoft PowerPoint, Windows Media Player & MS Office 1997-2003 software will be available. Any additional software will have to be brought along by the participants. Prior notification should be given about the same.
• Maximum number of participants per team is 2. Participants can be from different colleges. The participants should carry their college I Cards & SAE I-Cards (for SAE Members).
• Participants are NOT allowed to wear their college uniforms for the presentation. The hard copies/soft copies/presentation should not bear the participants’ college names.
• All participants have to report 1 hr before the event. The time will be put up on website at a later date.
• The registration fees are

For SAE members (Any 1): Rs 100/- per team
For Non-SAE members     : Rs. 120/- per team
*(SAE members should carry their SAE cards to avail this benefit)

• Participation certificates will be provided to all the participants.
• Judges decision is final and binding. Co-ordinators reserve the right of changing or cancellation of any of the above rules before or during the event.
• Last date for registration is 12th Feb 2010. The shortlisted entries will be notified by 14th Feb 2010.

Registration Details

• Registration for this event will begin on 1st Feb 2010. Please register your team at the earliest.
• A registration fee of Rs. 100/- for all teams having atleast one of their team members as SAE members, and Rs. 120/- for non-SAE team members is required to be sent either via draft with a Xerox copy of SAE I-cards (if applicable). A confirmation email will be sent to you only after we receive your draft. The demand draft should be in the name of SAE INDIA COLLEGIATE BRANCH , MIT PUNE ' .
