Registering Your Topic After registering the participants must send a mail consisting of: • NODE (MECHANICAL or MULTI- DISCIPLINARY) • NAME OF THE TOPIC (please refer point (B) before selecting the topic) • ABSTRACT (about 20 lines; should give a brief idea about the topic) • REFERENCES USED (can be a book, a website or a research paper; incase of a website as reference please include the complete link e.g. “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regenerative_brak e” And not “www.wikipedia.com”) • FULL NAME OF THE PARTICIPANTS • RESEARCH PAPERS at axleratetpp@gmail.com

Rules & Regulations • Last date to send the email is 20^th February 2012. • Entries not complying with the requirements of the topics will be eliminated and participants of the shortlisted entries will be notified by e- mail or phone on 22^nd February 2012. • Time given for presenting the paper is 8+2+5 min. First 10 min for presentation and nest 5 min for question answer round. A warning bell will be rung on the 8th min. • The hard copy of report should be a MS Word (1997-2003) file only. It should not be more than 20 pages with line spacing 1.5 & font size 12 -Times New Roman. The report should include proper graphs and diagrams as required. • The power point presentation should be in MS Power Point (1997-2003) only. • We will provide you with a laptop and a projector.

On the Day of the Competition On the day of presentation i.e. on 25^th or 26^th February 2012, the shortlisted participants are required to bring: • 2 hard copies of the report (please note that the abstract sent in the email is just a part of the report) • 1 soft copy of the report on C.D. only (no pen drives, D.V.Ds, MMCs are allowed.) • 1 soft copy of the power point presentation (no pen drives, D.V.Ds, MMCs are allowed.) • The participants are required to give a power point presentation for 10 minutes explaining their topic which will be followed by questions from the judges.
