Creating novel products and
services and then bringing them to the
market is not the only thing that
decides its value. It is the way you
present it, the way you advertise it or
in short the way you launch a product
that decides your standing in the
market. So in this event, you not only
need to know your product but must
also know how to make it a hit among
the crowd.

A maximum group of 4 students will be allowed
•
Each group will have to portray and enact the product launch of any one of the following ordinary
consumer goods in a span of 12 min (points will be deducted on exceeding the same)
•
According to their choice of product the contestants will have to design an imaginary model of the
same and decide its features and specifications (Contestants cannot use existing products for the
launch)
•
However for the purpose of display, any keepsake model may be used. Their launch will be judged on
their presentation, knowledge of their product, enactment of the launch and marketing confidence.
(Bonus points will be awarded for any slide shows, promo videos created in support of the product)

While enacting the launch it is compulsory for any of the contestants in a group to represent the
following personnel at one time or in rolling succession:

CEO of company
o
CFO of company
o
Head of Marketing and Strategy
o
Media Reporter
o
Head of R&D

After the launch, each group will be interviewed by the judging panel and marked accordingly
•
All the marking and evaluation will be handled by the judging panel and no group will be allowed to
contest their decision
•
Participants should carry a valid college I-card on person during the event so that his/her eligibility
can be identified at all times during the event.

The participants must follow the above rules and any instructions that will be conveyed prior to the
competition
