Game Field Structure & Specifications•The game field is as shown in track. •The game field consists of a square zone of 5x4 metre. •Cube: Dimensions: 20x 20cm. Material: High Density Foam (Thermocole) weight 150gm. •Disc: Dimensions: OD: 20cm, ID: 5cm, thickness: 5cm. Material: High Density Foam (Thermocole) weight 150gm. •Remaining Field is made of ply wood with paint on it.
Game Procedure•Each Game lasts for 3 minutes. •Only one manual machine will be used throughout the tournament. •Only manual operator will be allowed during game. •Initially machine will be placed in the respective start zones. •Task one: Place the preloaded cube at basket. •Task two: Push the discs placed in the common drop zone.
Point Allotment•10 points for placing the cube. •5 points for moving the disc from stop zone.•If the robot pushes the disc clearly past obstacle 1 you get 10 points.•If the robot pushes the disc clearly past obstacle 2 you get 20 points.•If the robot pushes the disc clearly past obstacle 3 you get 30 points.•The robot which pushes the disc into the point 2 gets 50 points.
Rules & Regulations••Clamping of the disc is not allowed. •Only single point pushing is allowed•The disc should always be in contact with the ground.•Use of central hole is allowed for pushing.•Intentional blocking or pushing of the opponent’s robot is allowed only in the war zone.•But no damage should be caused to the opponent robots.•Use of any explosive material is prohibited. •The disc can be touched only after placing the cube at basket. •The robot cannot enter the common zone before placing the cube.•Once a team drops the disc into the drop zone the game ends.
Deciding The WinnerAt the end of 3 minutes the team with maximum points will be declared as winner.
Design & Manufacture of Robot•Size Limitations 400x400x400 mm. •Maximum weight = 10kg. •Max 24V DC power supply will be allowed. •Power source will be provided by the organisers.
EligibilityALL STUDENTS (PURSUING ENGINEERING) WITH A VALID PHOTO-IDENTITY CARD OF THEIR RESPECTIVE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ROBOTICA.Certificate Policy1. Certificate of excellence will be given to all the winners (Top 3 Teams). 2. Certificate of participation will be given to all the teams that will participate in the event, but not to the teams which get disqualified due to disobeying any of the competition rules.
